Dumping room to Chic office

Previously a store room with lots of personal items in. Over 2 weeks we cleared all the clutter and set to work turning it into a usable office with lots of storage for filing, stationery, odds and ends and books.
Once clear I respositioned sockets and plumbed in a small radiator that had been bought several years ago taking a feed from the hallway. I panelled the walls in painted MDF boards and plastered the parts that needed it.
New surface mounted spotlights (the joists ran in an awkward position) were installed and previous holes were filled and plastered.
Old ikea cabinets were painted and re purposed and a new oak countertop was bought, cut and fitted to fit onto the units before the shelves were added.
An MDF shelf was added along the top of the shelves and along over the doorway for more book storage and to give the "built in" look.
Finishing touches from Katie included the accessories on the shelves, artwork and the new blind.
