In this case it was MDF skirting that had been damaged by the owners dog that needed scraping out, shaped and rebuilt with an epoxy filler. Sanded back and painted to blend in seamlessly. A much cheaper option that replacing the skirting which is what the homeowner thought they would have to do. Second case was an architrave damaged by a water leak which again was sanded back, treated and filled before decorating.
